Sent

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20

Loving Creator, you are within us

and you surround us with great beauty

we refuse to see you in the day's light

yet we cry to you in the night's darkness.

You sent the disciples forth into the world

a place they thought you couldn't be

yet the people they went to knew you too

and walked the earth with your spirit.

We can be blind to the holy in difference

we can shut out blessings from the other

we often turn away from one that frighten

yet you are all around and with all people,

Let us be those who celebrate your love

may we rejoice in the sacred around us

n\make our life and actions be always praise

and difference be gift and abundance in you. Amen
